We are a  craftsman and family managed coffee roasting company. The quality of the production, the constant control of the raw material, the final product and the global attention to the service offered to our customers have always been strengths. Our factory is based in Turin, north west of Italy, about 150km from Milan.

Slowly, in defiance of industrial rules, we continue to toast our beans in a temperature-controlled, air-cooled process to keep the beans intact, in order to preserve organoleptic qualities of the coffee and the aroma in the cup. Our clients range from small coffee shops to major restaurant and supermarket chains. From small orders by air to full containers by sea or truck.

Are taxes added to prices?

  • If you are an EU Company, no taxes are added to prices (you would need to provide VAT for us to to not add taxes.).
  • If you are an Italian Company, 22% is added on coffee and on transport.
  • For the rest of the world, no taxes are added to prices.

. There are no customs between countries in the EU.

How many kilograms can be shipped in a 20-ft container?

11 European pallets of 504 kgs each, with a total of 5544 kgs.

Minimum Order:

Minimum order: Usually 1 pallet (504 kgs) but for starters we can accept 100-kg orders.

Where we ship from:

We ship from Italy. Our factory is located in Turin (north west of Italy), around 180km to the Genova port.

We ship by sea, land and air.

How many bags are in a pallet?

  • 250-gram bags: 486 kgs. That is 1944 bags in 36 boxes of 54 bags each.
  • 500-gram bags: 504kg. That is 1008 bags in 36 boxes of 28 bags each.
  • 1 kg-bags: 504 kgs. That is 504 bags in 36 boxes of 14 bags each.

What are some approximate shipping costs?

We have to quote per case but these are some general prices:

  • By truck (Europe): approximately 1 -1.5 euro/kg (based on 100 kgs)
  • By air (Rest of the World): approximately 7-8 euros/kg (based on 100 kgs)
  • By sea (pallet): approximately 0.75-1.5 euros/kg (based on 500 kgs)

– By sea (per container): approximately 0.10-0.15 euros/kg (for 18,000 kgs)

Client may also send to pick-up at factory using own transport company.

Bag sizes:

  • 1 kg (2.2lb): whole bean
  • 500grams (17.64oz): ground or whole bean (depending on coffee and volume).
  • 250grams (8.8oz): ground or whole bean (depending on coffee and volume).

 

Number of bags per box: 

All orders have to be shipped out in full boxes.

  • 1 kg bags are 14 bags per box.
  • 500-gr bags are 28 bags per box.
  • 250-gram bags are 54 bags per box.

 

Box sizes:

40 cm x 31 cm x 41 cm

The boxes are brown carton boxes. We can apply a small sticker with the information you required.

Valves: 

Our valves are high-quality one-way valves.

Roast: 

Our standard roast is medium. For orders over 100 kgs, you may choose roast.

Expire date: 

2 years

Do you offer private label?

Yes.

For printed bags, the minimum order is 1,000 bags per design for preformed bags, and 75kg for rolls (approximately 2700bags). That is the minimum quantity our Printing House requests from us to prepare your roll. We can roast for you smaller 1-pallet orders and save your roll for you.

If you are looking for lower volume, we can package in plain black bags with valve and apply 1 or 2 full colour labels. Minimum order in this case is 100 kg per type of coffee, in 1 kg, 500gr or 250 gr bags, both ground whole beans.

Can I order samples?

Yes, ground or in beans. You will be charged the coffee at wholesale price + shipping. For samples, please email us to send you the Sample form to be completed.

Lead time for orders: 

Due to the high volume we handle in our factory, please always estimate 2-3 weeks.

What are the normal printing times for Private Label?

The Printing Company we work with requieres 2-3 weeks once design has been approved.

Payments: 

We work with bank wire, 100% in advance.
